Neil Newcomb is an Atlanta saxophonist, composer, and educator.

Doubling on flute and clarinet Neil keeps himself busy with pit orchestra work, commercials, and symphonic works in addition to jazz gigs. Not limiting himself to one genre on music, he has became well versed in many styles of music from latin, jazz, RnB, Gospel, funk, country and even hip hop.

Neil has played at the Alliance Theater (Woodruff Art Center), The Strand Theater, The Atlanta Jazz Festival, Churchill Grounds, Cobb Energy Center, the Georgia Dome, Dave FM Sunset Series, and countless other venues locally and internationally. Neil has played parties for Ted Turner, Whitney Houston, John Smoltz, and even Ron White.

Neil has played with/for: Fantasia Barrino, Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band/Béla Fleck & The Flecktones), Fred Wesley (James Brown Band), Chris Vadala, Alan Baylock (Airmen of Note), Kim Richmond, Carl Allen, Walter Blanding Jr., Russell Malone, Joe Gransden, Ron White, Jasmine Guy, Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Whitney Houston, Sam Skelton, Audrey Shakir, and countless other musicians.

Neil currently teaches saxophone, clarinet, and flute at Carere Music in Doraville, The Harmony House in Kennesaw, and Ponier Music in Woodstock.
